    SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to another assault at a different school five minutes later on Friday morning. Deputies say at 9:22 a.m., a 17-year-old student at Lakewood High School assaulted two other students. And when the school resource officer attempted to arrest the teenager they hit and wounded the deputy. That deputy was treated for his would at Prisma Tuomey Hospital and was released.
