Teller County first responders hosting toy and coat drive
Nov 25, 2024
(TELLER COUNTY, Colo.) — First responders from Teller and Park counties are teaming up to stuff a truck, an ambulance, a bearcat, and a police car with toys and coats for those in need this holiday season.
According to the Teller County Sheriff's Office, the annual toy and coat drive is to show the kids how much the community cares about them and to share the joy of the gift-giving season. This week, first responders will be collecting toys, coats, scarves, mittens, and hats that will then be distributed to those in need.
Donations will be collected at the Woodland Park Walmart, located at 19600 East US Highway 24, on Nov. 29 and Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A special appearance by Santa Claus is expected.
