CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade returns to light up the night on Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte once again this year. The parade will step off on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 27th at 5:30pm and will air live on WCCB Charlotte and Bahakel Entertainment starting at 6:00pm. 2023’s Thanksgiving Eve Parade was a huge success, with 100,000 people around Tryon Street enjoying the night’s festivities. The 2024 parade will continue this tradition and kick off the holiday season in style. “For decades, the Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade has been a cherished tradition allowing families and neighbors to come together and enjoy a fun and festive community celebration of what makes Charlotte so remarkable,” said Saad Ehtisham, DHA, FACHE, senior vice president and president, Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center and Novant Health’s greater Charlotte market. “Novant Health is proud to be a part of such a special and treasured event. We are grateful to kick off the holiday season together.” The parade will feature traditional favorites like exciting floats, massive balloons, marching bands, and performers from across the region and nation. A brand-new addition to the night this year is “cARTs,” a showcase of Charlotte’s artistic imagination in which local creatives will turn vehicles into rolling, illuminated masterpieces. This new specialty unit is sure to become a crowd favorite for years to come. “This year’s parade is all about showcasing the dynamic energy of Charlotte and Uptown,” said Robert Krumbine, Chief Creative Officer for Charlotte Center City Partners and Parade Producer. “With cARTs and other new experiences, we’re embracing the spirit of innovation that defines this city. The 78th Novant Health Thanksgiving Parade will be a celebration of creativity, diversity, and unity for all to enjoy.” The Novant Health Thanksgiving Eve Parade is free and open to the public, with VIP tickets on sale now for those looking for premium seating near the performance zone.
