Officials said two people were inside the home at the time of the explosion.  A man was flown to Wake Forest Baptist Burn Center in critical condition. The man has been released from the hospital and is recovering from his injuries. A woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Fire Marshal’s Office reminds residents to regularly inspect and maintain equipment and appliances according to user manuals, particularly in areas like garages where flammable materials are often stored.
