2 Napa men arrested on attempted murder charges

(KRON) -- A victim suffered “significant injuries” and was hospitalized after being assaulted early Saturday morning in Napa, according to the Napa Police Department. Two men were arrested on attempted murder charges in connection to the altercation.
Police responded at 3:06 a.m. to the 1600 block of Pueblo Avenue on the report of an assault. Emergency personnel located a male victim who had sustained critical injuries and transported him to a local hospital.

Two men who were at the scene when officers arrived were detained and later arrested once detectives determined that they were suspects in the assault, Napa PD said. Ignacia Casto, 31, of Napa, and Cruz Castro, 35, of Napa, were booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on multiple charges, including attempted murder.
The current condition of the victim is unknown.
