Nov 25, 2024
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Shoppers who are behind on prepping for Thanksgiving will only have a limited time to grab what they need on the day of the holiday from their local Dillons.
Sheila Regehr with the retail chain Dillons shared a press release with 27 News on Monday, Nov. 25 for store hours on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday. While Dillons stores will remain open for normal hours on Black Friday, Thanksgiving will look a little different.
Dillons will close all stores at 3 p.m. on Nov. 28 with the final pickup and delivery ordering windows between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Specific departments within each Dillons, such as the pharmacy, may have different hours which vary on a store-to-store basis.
“Thanksgiving is such a special time of year and we take pride in knowing exactly what is important to our customers during this holiday season,” said Tom Duncan, vice president, head of marketing at Kroger. “No matter how they choose to celebrate, we’re happy to provide our customers with value on the items they need, want and love this Thanksgiving.”

“As families gather to celebrate the holiday and take stock of all that we are grateful for, food is what brings us together,” Regehr said. “At Dillons we are grateful for our customers and our outstanding associates for all they do to serve families in Kansas, especially as they prepare for special moments like Thanksgiving. This holiday season we are bringing more to the table for less with a Thanksgiving bundle that is Fresh for Everyone with zero-compromise.”
