ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The annual City of Albuquerque Crossing Guard Food Drive is coming up December 2 - 10. Crossing guards at locations throughout the city will be collecting non-perishable items. Accepted items include canned food, boxed side dishes, packaged beans, rice, pasta, seasonings, and other similar items. During the 2023 event 4,300 pounds of food was collected and this year their goal is to collect 7,000 pounds.
