CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Want to ring in the holidays by making your own wreath to take home? Pocahontas State Park will host a workshop where you can do just that! The workshop will span from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 at the park's shelter 2 by the aquatic complex. (Photo: Department of Conservation and Recreation) In addition to making wreaths, attendees will learn about their symbolism. Some materials like pine boughs, vines, berries and ribbons will be provided, but attendees can bring their own additional materials. The event is supported by the Friends of Pocahontas State Park, and a donation is suggested of $20 per wreath, cash or check only, according to organizers. The workshop is suited for ages 10 and up.
