A Wetter Week Ahead
Nov 25, 2024
Good Monday morning, everyone! We’re waking up appropriately chilled for this time of year, with temperatures in the mid and upper 30s to start the new workweek. However, by this afternoon, temperatures will be back around 50, and we’ll have plenty of sun. It’s a great afternoon to get outside! Especially because of what’s ahead….
Tonight, temperatures will dip into the mid 30s, and we’ll see clouds increase as the hours go by. Those clouds are the precursor to a front that will reach us tomorrow, bringing wet weather as it does (good news for drought conditions). We’ll start Tuesday with a few scattered showers, but rain will pick up by the afternoon. Luckily, this front is a quick-mover, and the rain will be over and done by early evening. Temperatures midday will be in low to mid 50s
Wednesday looks nice– good news for travelers ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday! We’ll be breezy, but sunny, with temperatures in the upper 40s.
Thursday, however, looks dicey for Thanksgiving itself. We’ve been watching a storm poised to hit New England on Thanksgiving for quite some time now. At this point, it looks like that storm will only be bringing rain to Rhode Island. However, there is still some potential for wet snow and/or a wintry mix in northern New England, especially in higher elevations. All that said, there’s still a lot about this storm that is up in the air– stick with us and we’ll keep you posted!
