Traffic stop leads to discovery of meth, gun, and machete in Hicksville, Ohio

HICKSVILLE, Ind. (WANE) A man who police say has an extensive criminal history is again facing charges following a traffic stop in Hicksville, Ohio this past weekend.
An officer with the Hicksville Police Department pulled over a vehicle just after 1:30 a.m. Saturday for a traffic violation. The officer was accompanied by a K-9 and a search turned up drugs suspected to be methamphetamine, a 9mm handgun, and a machete according to a news release issued by the department.
Scott James Miller, 59, of Toledo, Ohio was taken into custody. He faces multiple charges related to being a repeat offender, which include drug and gun offenses.
He's scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
