EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso International Airport is ready for the holiday travel season and is anticipating a record number of travelers during the Thanksgiving weekend, the City said in a press release. The City says the Thanksgiving travel season will end on Tuesday, Dec. 3. Throughout this period, the airport will have just over 100,000 seats available, compared to about 91,000 last year. The City says Wednesday, Nov. 27, and Sunday, Dec. 1, are expected to be the busiest days. The City has also provided a list if tips for passengers to have a smooth journey. Arrive Early Arrive at least two hours before their departure time, with a maximum of four hours. This allows ample time for waiting in queue lines and a stress-free experience. Parking The short-term parking lot is expected to fill up.
