TAUNTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Officials in Taunton are investigating after a 38-year-old man was shot multiple times. Officers were called to Morton Hospital around 2:30 a.m. to find a 38-year-old Taunton man who was being treated for multiple serious, but non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victim was stabilized, and transferred to another hospital for treatment. According to police, the shooting incident is believed to have occurred in the area of 31 Winthrop Street.
