PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- An investigation is underway after a 49-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night in Providence. The victim was identified as Keith Singleton. Col. Oscar Perez said officers were called to Monticello Street just before 7:30 p.m. and found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Rhode Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead. This is the city's 11th homicide of the year. At this time, there is no suspect in custody.
