TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — Taunton police say they are investigating after a man was shot early Monday morning. A 38-year-old man showed up at Morton Hospital around 2:30 a.m. with serious, but non-life-threatening, gunshot wounds. Police say the shooting is believed to have happened in the area of 31 Winthrop Street (Route 44). No word on any suspects or what led up to the shooting at this time.
