Former MPD officers in Tyre Nichols case back in court
Nov 25, 2024
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Three of the five former Memphis Police Officers charged in Tyre Nichols death are expected to face a judge again on Monday morning.
The judge could announce whether former officers Tadarrius Bean, Justin Smith, and Emmitt Martin will be tried together or separately during their state trial set for April 2025.
This comes after Bean and Smith's attorney filed a motion to sever, requesting separate trials from Martin during their last court hearing.
