NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — Thanksgiving is right around the corner! And that means government services will come with holiday hours this week. In Minot, all government offices like Public Works or Municipal Court will be closed on Thanksgiving. City buses also won't run on Thanksgiving day. And garbage collection will be tomorrow and Wednesday. In Bismarck, it'll be mostly the same. All government offices will be closed on Thanksgiving, along with city buses. Garbage collection will run as scheduled from Monday through Wednesday, but on Thanksgiving, collection will be postponed to Friday. As a reminder, garbage and recycling must be set out by 6 AM on the day of collection.
