Officials look for suspect after shot fired near UNMH

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The University of New Mexico (UNM) Police Department is investigating a shooting after they said surveillance footage shows someone firing a gun.
According to UNM, police were monitoring video of the Yale Parking Structure near UNM Hospital around 3 a.m. on Sunday when a male was seen on the top floor.

UNM Police said the man was holding a gun and fired one shot into the ground. Officers responded and said the suspect fled from them in a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee going east on Lomas. They have not been able to locate the vehicle or the suspect.
