Virginia Tech’s football team falls 3128 in game against Duke

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Virginia Tech Hokies lost 31-28 against the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday, Nov. 23.
The Hokies fell behind early in the first quarter during Saturday's game, however, player Collin Schlee made a 65-yard touchdown pass to teammate Ali Jennings to end the quarter with the score 14-7.
The Hokies then caught up to the Blue Devils in the second quarter and tied the score after a 21-yard touchdown. A field goal from Hokies kicker John Love would then break the tie and bring the team into the lead with the score 14-17.
However, Duke dominated the third quarter and brought the score to 31-17.
The Hokies played catch-up in the last quarter of the game, with Love making a 38-yard field goal and Hokies running back Bhayshul Tuten with a 29-yard touchdown, but it wasn't enough to overtake the Blue Devils.
