2 shot, 1 killed during bar fight on east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a shooting left one man dead and another critically injured Sunday morning on Indy's east side.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 2:30 a.m., officers were called to the 4200 block of East New York Street on the report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located two adult males with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. Police said one of the men died from their injuries. The second man shot was listed in critical condition and transported to an area hospital.
Investigators said an argument between the men inside the bar started the incident. Police reported that the argument spilled out into the parking lot, and that's where the shooting happened.
There is not yet any word on arrests or potential suspects.
