INDIANAPOLIS — A car crashed into an elementary school on the south side of Indianapolis Sunday morning. It happened just before 1:30 a.m. at Winchester Village Elementary School, which is located at 1900 East Stop 12 Road. Crews were dispatched to the area for a possible structure collapse. No injuries were reported, according to police. Officials said a car with two people inside it was heading down a hill when it crashed into the school. Investigators believe distracted driving may have played a role in the crash. Officials, however, do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
