BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Louisiana lawmakers have passed Governor Jeff Landry's tax reform package. After the governor signs the legislation into law, Louisianans will see their income tax rate drop to 3% for all tax brackets making over $12,500 annually.
East Baton Rouge District Attorney Hillar Moore is proposing a property tax for the spring 2025 ballot to support his office.
