AUSTIN (KXAN) — A family disturbance call led to a SWAT callout in east Austin early Sunday morning, according to the Austin Police Department. Austin police said the callout ended peacefully around 12:25 p.m. with the suspect in custody. Police responded and found a male with a possible firearm. The suspect then barricaded himself in a vehicle, police said. Police said the SWAT team was called to help, due to the serious nature of the call.
