RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after a person was shot in the city's Southside early Saturday morning. At around 3:40 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, Richmond Police officers responded to the 1300 block of Richmond Highway. When officers arrived on scene, they found a male shot with injuries not considered to be life-threatening. According to officials, the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The Richmond Police Department continues to investigate this incident.
