PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) -- Following their historic run to the USL Championship match, Rhode Island FC will host a postseason block party on Monday night. The event will take place at The Guild in Pawtucket, from 5-8 p.m. Head Coach and General Manager Khano Smith, RIFC players and Chip the Harbor Seal will be in attendance. Fans will also have the opportunity to take photos with the Eastern Conference Championship trophy. There will also be free games and activities including a live band, balloon animals, face painting and kids tattoos. RIFC upset three of the top four seeds to win the USL Eastern Conference Title in their inaugural season, before falling 3-0 to the Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC in the title match.
