BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) -- Two-time reigning FCS champion SDSU begins its quest for a three-peat as the No. three-seed in the FCS Playoffs.
The Jackrabbits went 10-2 in the regular season and tied for the Missouri Valley Football Conference championship with USD and NDSU at 7-1. The Jacks closed the regular season with five straight wins. They have won those games by an average of nearly 30 points.
This season marks the 13th straight year South Dakota State is participating in the playoffs. They have advanced to at least the semifinals six times, including the last four seasons with three trips to the title game.
