FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Congregation Achduth Vesholom welcomes community members to dive into the mind of a local architect as they peruse his designs and artistic endeavors. According to the temple's website, this collection illuminates Alan Grinsfelder's accomplishments; from his contributions to the Fort Wayne skyline during his long career with Grinsfelder Associates Architecture to his more recently created paintings. Grinsfelder is the oldest Purdue Fort Wayne student as he continues to take art classes at 89 years old. The Architecture and Art of Alan Grinsfelder exhibit opens at 2 p.m., followed by a panel discussion at 3 p.m. Fort Wayne City Councilman Geoff Paddock, John O`Connell, Dean of Purdue Fort Wayne's College of Visual and Performing Arts and Grinsfelder himself will be on the panel. Congregation Achduth Vesholom is located on 5200 Old Mill Rd. To learn more about the exhibit and Grinsfelder's contributions to the Fort wayne skyline, visit the temple's website.
