MANOA, Hawaii (KHON2) -- Elementary school students from around Oahu captured a glimpse of their future at the University of Hawaii at Manoa to learn about the campus and life as a "Bow." Check out what's going on around the nation on our National News page On Friday, Nov. 22, about 1,200 students were split into groups and guided around the campus by UH tour guides. Participating schools included Kuhio, Hokulani, Palisades, Mokapu, Ala Wai, Lincoln, Enchanted Lake, Pohakea and Lunalilo elementary schools. Kaimuki’s Queen Theater showing signs of improvement Each student learned about the university's features, programs, areas of study and even learned different fun facts. Following a campus tour, students got the opportunity to experience a Rainbow Wahine basketball game against Louisiana Monroe, kicking off the Bank of Hawaii Classic. We’ve been wanting to have an Education Day for a while, but had to work on the logistics to make it a reality, and today exceeded all expectations. We’re constantly trying to come up with ways to help fans create memories when they come to one of our events. Today, 1,200 students walked out of SimpliFi Arena with a great memory!
