E. Henrietta Rd. closed after crash, wires down in roadway

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A portion of East Henrietta Road in the Town of Rush was shut down Saturday evening after a single-car crash.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the closure stretches from Rush Henrietta Town Line Road to Jeffords Road and is expected to last through the overnight hours due to wires in the roadway.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. According to the Monroe County 911 reports system, downed wires were reported in the area around 6 p.m. Saturday. News 8 reached out to authorities for more information, including whether anyone was hurt. We have not yet received a response.
