LEMOORE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) -A teenage boy shot at a park Friday night, died shortly after being found by officers, Lemoore police say. Around 10:30 p.m. the Lemoore Police Department began receiving calls reporting the sounds of gunshots heard in the 500 block of East Hanford Armona Road. Officers arrived at Heritage Park to find a teenage boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported from the scene by EMS, but investigators say he died while being treated for his injuries. Officers say no one else was located at the scene and they are actively working to gather suspect information. The investigation is ongoing, and detectives ask anyone with information in this case to please contact the Lemoore Police Department Detectives Division at 559-924-9574.
