CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - One person is in the hospital on Saturday night after a serious car crash in Chicopee. Springfield man sent to prison for illegal distributing approximately 50 ghost guns At around 7 p.m. Chicopee police were asking all drivers to seek an alternative route after closing off a part of Granby Road in the area of Stanley Drive. As of 9:05 p.m., Granby Road has reopened. When the 22News crew got there they could see caution tape was up as police investigated this crash. There were debris and clothing on the ground as well. Chicopee Police Spokesman Officer Travis Odiorne told 22News that a person was brought to the hospital, but the seriousness of their injuries is unclear.
