Report: Juvenile shooting victim walked into Riley Children's Hospital with critical injuries

INDIANAPOLIS — A juvenile shooting victim walked into Riley Children's Hospital in downtown Indianapolis on Saturday night with critical injuries.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to Riley Children's Hospital — which is located in the 1100 block of Wishard Boulevard — around 6:40 p.m. on a report of a walk-in person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
IMPD has confirmed that the victim is currently in critical condition.
Investigators did not initially release the age of the victim. A police report filed Saturday night, however, confirmed the victim was a 15-year-old boy.
Law enforcement has not yet announced exactly where the shooting occurred. As of this article's publication, no additional information on the incident had been made available.
