Green Bay holiday parade brings "Hometown Holiday" magic to downtown

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The 40th Annual Green Bay Holiday Parade, presented by HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital, brought festive cheer to downtown Green Bay this morning.
Starting at 10 a.m., the streets were filled with creative floats, marching bands, dancers, singers, and, Santa Claus, all-embracing this year’s theme of "Hometown Holiday."
Broadway pros showcase hair and makeup magic in Center Stage Workshop
Among the standout participants was Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB), showcasing its holiday-themed air traffic control tower float. Complete with North Pole Elves and the airport’s PawsAero pups, the float also featured Delta Air Lines representatives and GRB team members handing out candy to attendees.
“The air traffic control tower was a creative masterpiece by Jared Farlow and the GRB Maintenance team,” said Marty Piette, A.A.E, Airport Director. “We were thrilled to share it as part of this wonderful tradition’s 40th year.”
Fox River Academy students help clean up Pierce Park
The parade route, spanning Jefferson, Cherry, and Washington Streets, was lined with spectators celebrating the rich traditions and culture of the Green Bay community.
