The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5...
Well if you were lucky enough up north today, you got the chance to see some peaks of blue skies. Otherwise, it was a grey looking day with highs managing the lower 40s and winds staying very light. Overnight, expect overcast cloudy skies and temperatures to fall into the upper 20s up north, low to mid 30s elsewhere.
For tomorrow, it's day two of the gun deer season along with the Packers taking on the 49ers over at Lambeau at 3:25pm. We have a weak trough of low pressure to our north and a system that will start to organize itself throughout the day to our south.
The northern most system will reinforce the cloud coverage and bring a very small chance for a passing sprinkle or flurry. Highs will manage the upper 30s in the Northwoods, low to mid 40s for the rest. Kickoff temperature around 45 degrees with east winds 5-15mph. Overall, expecting a dry game over at Titletown this time around compared to two weeks ago.
Overnight Sunday, the southern most system will start to track toward the Great Lakes and this will increase our chances for rain or snow, especially for Monday. Not expecting much on the way of accumulations as any of the precipitation will be light. Highs for Monday in the 40s once again, and winds will pick up out of the NE 10-20mph.
This system will attract the cooler air sitting across the far northern plains, as highs for Tuesday through Thanksgiving will sit in the mid 30s. Overall, very quiet travel weather is expected and it should be a dry Thanksgiving. A second shot of cold air arrives Friday with high temperatures falling into the middle and upper 20s.
