BILLINGS COUNTY, ND (KXNET) — Billings County is ending its total burn ban throughout the area.
The resolution was passed this week.
Throughout October, the Billings County Board of County Commission had burn restrictions in place because of the area's extreme fire danger risk.
The total burn ban has now been lifted, but burn restrictions are still in place.
This means you still can't travel off-road if the fire danger is high. You also can't participate in any open burning or light off fireworks. Smoking is still restricted to vehicles, buildings, and designated smoking areas.
You can find the full list of burn restrictions by going to Billings County's website here.
