(KRON) – A body was found in Piner Creek near Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa on Saturday, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department.  At 8:40 a.m. on Saturday, a community member reported to authorities that they saw what appeared to be a body in Piner Creek.  Person dead after being submerged in Sonoma County floodwater According to Santa Rosa PD, the body was located nine minutes later. Police said the victim was a man in his 60s. The victim’s identity is being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
