PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- Multiple robberies that happened in Providence are under investigation by police. Police said a pizza delivery driver reported he was robbed at knifepoint while making a delivery on General Street. He told police that two Hispanic male juveniles came up to him, threatened him in Spanish with a knife while demanding the pizzas and then took off on foot with them. The other robbery took place early Saturday morning at a gas station on Broadway, according to police. In that incident, police said a clerk at the gas station reported they were robbed at gunpoint. The clerk told police a man came in the store and walked to the cash register before pointing a gun at their head while demanding money. According to police, the clerk said they opened the register and the man took "an undetermined amount" of cash before running away. At this time, no arrests have been made related to either robbery.
