(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) has seen a 7.4 increase in passengers in 2024, with over 2 million passengers served. With the upcoming holidays, the addition of Allegiant Airlines bringing three new nonstop routes, and Southwest Airlines' new service to Cancun, Mexico, the airport expects the next several months to bring an even bigger increase. In February, Allegiant will start the new nonstop routes to Phoenix, Arizona, Santa Ana, California, and Tampa, Florida, destinations that have been highly requested. Southwest's service to Cancun is scheduled to start in June 2025, marking COS's first international destination. As the holidays approach, COS will be running a holiday parking promotion, with 50 percent off daily long-term parking at just $4 a day from November 25 through December 1, and from December 20 through January 2.
