Philly's largest city workers union agrees to 1year contract, averting strike

Philly's largest municipal workers union has agreed to a one-year contract extension with the City of Philadelphia. The agreement for fiscal year 2025 includes a 5% salary increase, a one-time bonus of $1,400 and other benefits. Union workers were previously without a contract since June 30.
