Explosion at Marinette County residence leads to fire, two men hospitalized

WAGNER, Wis. (WFRV) - A home explosion on Friday evening in Marinette County led to a fire and the hospitalization of two men.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded along with the Town of Wagner Fire Department around 7:30 p.m. on November 22 after reports of an explosion at a residence on Snyder Road.
When authorities arrived, the home was currently on fire and deputies talked with two men who were reportedly injured during the incident. Both men were taken away from the scene for medical treatment.

The release did not state what may have caused the explosion, the damage it caused to the residence, or how serious the injuries to either man were.
Multiple fire departments worked to put out the fire. The Marinette County Sheriff's Office is still investigating the incident.
