INDIANA (WANE) -- As we head into the holiday season, holiday lights displays are set to light up the sky in not only Fort Wayne but surrounding towns and cities as well. See just a few of the holiday displays that jumpstart your holiday cheer below! Fort Wayne offers multiple holiday lights displays with the new addition Parkview Field showing off over a million lights to Blue Jackets Fantasy of Lights. Both light festivities offer families the opportunity to experience the magic either from the warmth of their car, via a tiny train ride or just walking. Fantasy of Lights even launched an app allowing families to buy tickets ahead of time, check wait times and see a map of displays. Downtown Fort Wayne also features many lights displays from Santa and his reindeer to the giant wreath. Make sure to tune into WANE 15 Wednesday night as we countdown the lighting of Santa and his reindeer in downtown Fort Wayne on air at 5 and 6 p.m. Illuminating Leo will light up the Riverside Garden with lights displays for families to enjoy alongside the park. Illuminating Leo runs from Nov. 21 through Jan. 6. The event is hosted by local nonprofit the Leo-Cedarville Foundation in partnership with the Town of Leo-Cedarville and Leo-Cedarville Parks. Garrett will welcome the holiday season with the Parade of Lights. At 4 the Garrett High School band will perform their holiday favorites followed by the Encore show choir singing holiday sing-along. A tree lighting will kick off the parade at 5 p.m. where 20 floats and wagons will travel through downtown. Sunken Gardens Wreath and Lights Display will take over the park in Huntington. Kicking off on Dec. 1 head to the Sunken Gardens to see the displays completely for free.
