Over 15 sponsors join forces with the Safe Haven Kids League of California City for a resource event that's expected to feed 1,100 people at Central Park in Cal City. Safe Haven Kids League of California City and several sponsors will be feeding families in need on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Central Park in California City. More information about the event can be found on the Safe Haven Kids League website. Last year, over 600 people were fed at the inaugural event. This year, that number is expected to exceed 1,100. Myers says he expects a line to be wrapped around the building. He expects Central Park to be packed with families.This place is going to be a full building.
