FRESNO, Calif. (KGPE) - Friday night was an honor night for CBS47, KSEE24 and anyone who helped spread the word about the dangers of driving under the influence. Mothers Against Drunk Driving, an organization that focuses on ending impaired driving according to its website, held an appreciation and awards dinner Friday night for those who help spread the word about the dangers of drinking and driving. CBS47 and KSEE24 were recognized as media sponsors. With the holiday season approaching, MADD wants to remind the public to use a ride share or designated driver to get home if they had something to drink "to get there" safely.
