Philadelphia man caught with loaded gun at Hamilton McDonald’s

HAMILTON — A Philadelphia man carrying a loaded handgun faces multiple charges after two incidents at a McDonald’s restaurant on November 19.
Police found a 9mm handgun with 12 hollow point bullets in Salil Wilson’s waistband during his arrest.
Wilson, 19, entered the McDonald’s at 2603 S. Broad Street at 3:30 p.m. Police say Wilson took a mobile order from the counter and pushed past an employee to enter the kitchen. He filled a cup with a beverage and left without paying.
Wilson returned at 4:30 p.m. and attempted to take another mobile order. After the manager stopped him, Wilson went behind the counter and filled another cup. He struck the manager’s right arm during a confrontation at the drink machine.
The incident continued outside the restaurant. Officers R. Piotrowski and B. Buchalski arrived with backup from Officers J. Mura and R. McLaughlin. When they placed Wilson under arrest, they discovered the gun and ammunition.
Charges include robbery, burglary, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of hollow point bullets, theft and possession of narcotics.
