BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — No. 4 Catholic High used a suffocating first half to down No. 13 East Jefferson, 42-0, to advance to the Division I Select quarterfinals. After starting the playoffs with a bye, the Bears were ready from the jump, marching down the field on their first possession of the game, capping it off with a Jayden Miles touchdown to go up 6-0 after a missed PAT. Catholic High continued to roll in the first quarter, adding two Rylan Parker touchdowns to lead 21-0. The second quarter was much of the same for the Bears, finding the endzone three more times, including a Cohen LeBlanc punt return touchdown to go up 42-0.
