SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The weekend has arrived once again, with plenty of events and activities on the calendar for San Diego County.
From holiday-themed festivities to theatrical and musical performances, here's a breakdown of some things do across the region this weekend:
Makers Arcade North County Pop-up
Head to Oceanside Saturday for a holiday-themed makers market pop-up, hosted by Tremont Collective and Green Cheek Beer Co. There will be over 70 local vendors selling goods of all sorts, making it perfect for holiday shopping. There will also be live music and workshops for those of all ages, even kids.

Sublime with Rome concert
For those who would love to sing along to the popular songs “Wrong Way,” “Santeria” and “Badfish,” head to Gallagher Square at Petco Park Saturday night. Sublime with Rome will be performing for a San Diego crowd as part of their farewell tour. Tickets are still available are selling for around $64 a pop.
Ice skating rinks
There are three ice skating rinks that are now open ahead of the holidays. Whether it's a family-friendly outing or a date night, head to one of these rinks this weekend to have some fun on the ice: Rady Children’s Hospital Ice Rink at Liberty Station, Viejas Casino & Resort or Skating by the Sea at Hotel el Coronado.

Doggie Street Festival & Adopt-A-Thon
Over a dozen rescue groups are coming together to host a mega adoption event at NTC Park in Liberty Station Saturday morning. This free event will have live music, pet products and services, guest speakers, vet tips, auction prizes, contests, as well and food and drinks. There will even be a kids art lounge.
Lightscape at San Diego Botanic Garden
This one-mile walking trail is lit up to delight visitors. “Merging nature and art, the garden will come to life at night with festive sights and sounds for all to enjoy,” said the event’s coordinators. Better move quickly if you hope to land tickets for the weekend as only certain time slots are still available.
Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
Head to the Old Globe Theater in San Diego Saturday or Sunday for this classic theatrical performance. The play runs for an hour and 20 minutes, with carols from the animated version. Get into the holiday spirit while watching the green, main character charm the crowd with his antics.
