Lincoln Police cruiser. (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Nov. 22)–Lincoln Police have made an arrest in connection to a string of vandalism cases in midtown on Wednesday afternoon. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says the vandalism cases started at 7 Brew off of 56th and “O” Street and continued to the area of 50th and “O”, where 19-year-old Eric Garrett III allegedly threw rocks through two business windows and a car windshield. Thomas says Garrett allegedly picked up a metal sheet sign and used it to smash two windshields on other cars. Between five victims, total damage estimates are around $2,500. After he left in a van, Garrett was tracked down at his home on Thursday and arrested for five counts of injure or destroy property of another and disturbing the peace.
