(KTLA) – In the heart of downtown Los Angeles, a million square feet of space have been dedicated to cars of the future, and the past, but also some cars you can't see anywhere else. On an early tour of the Los Angeles Auto Show, we strolled the displays and found hundreds of the latest gas, hybrid and EV models from Acura, Alfa Romeo, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Genesis, GMC, Honda, Hummer, Hyundai, Ineos, Jeep, Kia, Lucid, Nissan, Polestar, Porsche Downtown LA, RAM, Rivian, Subaru, Tesla, Toyota, VinFast, Volkswagen and Volvo. But we also spotted some celebrity vehicles that you may have already seen on screen.
"This is one of the great things about an auto show, it's the variety," said AutoTrader Executive Editor Brian Moody. "It isn't just about new Fords and new Kias.
In the custom car area you can get a closer look at a Maybach from a Jay-Z video, Paris Hilton's Bently, a fully-customized Rolls Royce and many other works of art. Several are the creations of West Coast Custom CEO Ryan Friedlinghaus, the genius behind the Auto Show.
"We brought a little big of everything this time," said Friedlinghaus, who has expanded his empire beyond the Pimp My Ride television show. "(I'm) trying to bring art and cars and a whole experience to the table."
The show even features training resources for young students looking to make a career in customization, fostering the next generation of automotive artists.
