PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Laurel police said an officer was injured after a drunk driver crashed into a police cruiser early Thursday. Police said that around 2 a.m., a police cruiser was hit by a vehicle at Van Dusen Rd and South Arbory Lane. Woman dies after car crashes into pole in Montgomery County The driver was not injured. Officials confirmed the driver was drunk at the time of the crash. The police officer was treated at the hospital for his injuries and released on Thursday.
