ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - Heavy rain and snow to the south will last through this afternoon. There is some ponding on roads and there could be some icy spots. Take it slow! There's some dry time going into Saturday morning, but the storm will be deepening as it moves along the coast of Maine. That will drive up northwest winds and some lake-effect rain showers will linger throughout Saturday. Sunday is still breezy and cool, but the lake effect signal will bring only a few isolated showers throughout the day. Temperatures hold in the upper 30s and lower 40s through the weekend with just a few random showers, likely thanks to Lake Ontario. pic.twitter.com/y5QzE8A5EK— James Gilbert (@JamesGilbertWX) November 22, 2024 We've got an active pattern next week, but with temperatures generally above freezing, most precipitation looks like a mix to snow. A weak system Monday into Tuesday will bring a few scattered showers with both days going from the mid 30s to mid 40s. There will be a system to move by on Thanksgiving, but the focus right now looks to be closer to PA.  8-Day Forecast
