VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle has prompted road closures and an investigation in Visalia on Thursday night, according to the Visalia Police Department. Officers say they responded to a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle at Walnut Avenue and Demaree Street in Visalia just before 6 p.m. on Thursday. As of 6:15 p.m., police said the scene was active and both east and westbound lanes of Walnut Avenue, between Demaree Street and Royal Oaks Drive, were closed. It is unknown the time the street will open again. The status of the parties involved is unknown. This is an ongoing investigation. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
